Bay Area Search 2026

On the agenda

Bay Area Search returns to San Francisco this November, bringing the search community back together for one day in the Mission.

For years, Bay Area Search was where the search community came to think out loud. It moved from office to office, Google one season, Yelp or LinkedIn the next, as the people shaping search traded ideas and talked about where things were going. Then it went quiet.

This November, it comes back. Not a sprawling conference, and not a booth in sight. Just one unhurried day at Manny’s in the Mission: a few sharp talks, two candid panels, and breaks long enough to finish a conversation, all circling the question everyone in search is wrestling with now: How is AI changing the way people find things?

It’s smaller by design, made for the people who care about this craft and the community around it. Tickets are $25, and every dollar goes to Mission Bit, a San Francisco nonprofit that teaches public-school students to code. Breakfast, lunch, and a closing happy hour are on us.

If Bay Area Search meant something to you once, come help write its next chapter. Seats are limited, so grab yours before they’re gone.
